If you’re like most people, finding the right soap for your skin can be difficult, especially if you’re looking for a soap to do a specific job.

Most brands of soap have the reputation of nourishing the skin while others help promote dry and damaged skin.

There are many soaps that have exceptional results when it comes to skin care, but some soaps are better suited for some skin conditions. Jami Miller, an associate professor of medicine in the dermatology department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, says: “Most body soaps and washes remove oils that keep the skin soft and naturally hydrated. ‘oil makes your skin dry. Many washes on the body leave a layer of moisturizer on the skin that helps replenish the oils removed.’

For example, the beauty bars, the soap Caress and Olay help to promote a soft and uniform skin for a soft touch and these products do not irritate the skin.

If you have sensitive skin try Dove Sensitive Skin, Aveeno Moisturizing Bar or Dial Basics Hypoallergenic Soap because it uses less heavier and more nutrient-added ingredients that are only for sensitive skin.

If you suffer from dry skin or acne, look for the African black soap Shea Moisture, the delicate soap Jergens or the Neutrogena facial cleansing bar for acne-prone skin because they are aimed specifically at the elimination of acne while continuing to give the skin its appropriate oils.

Also Colomba and Dial Soaps are the recommended soaps to be used on tattoos because they moisturize and repair the skin.

For other products for skin conditions, choose from natural soaps that contain aloe vera, cocoa butter, avocado or vegetable oils for dry and sensitive skin.

Even the soaps that contain vitamin E and jojoba oil are good for dry skin diseases like eczema.

For more skin care treatments look for herbal soaps that contain lavender, peppermint, spearmint and oatmeal that will also leave your skin feeling good.
